FAKE TAN MISTAKE FIXER!

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a fabulous day! Here's a cracking little tip I found for fixing up those scary fake tan mistakes! So your staring at your newly tanned legs when you discover even after buffing your fake tan to perfections there is a bloomin streaky patch! Never fear! Go grab some baking soda and mix it with a little water. Apply in gentle circular motions to the offending area and watch as those naughty streaky bits fade away! This exfoliator is a natural and gentle way to fix up any fake tan disaster! More tips soon!

CUTTLERY IS YOUR NEW BEAUTY TOOL KIT!

Hello everyone! Sorry the blog post schedule has messed up a bit, I got a terrible cold that left me all meh with no energy so I fell behind a bit on the blog post front! Not to worry! Here we are with some more beauty tips. Today I'm giving tips from the cutlery drawer! Don't tell me you didn't know cutlery can double as a magic beauty tool?

Spoony tip one! Place a spoon under your lower lashes with the curved part facing out wards! This makes coating the lower lashes fool proof as it avoids any dark panda eye situations, all the mascara will go onto the spoon instead of your eyes! Result!

Spoony tip two! You've probably heard this tip before but I always think it gets over looked! Pop a pair of spoons in the fridge, after they cool take them out and gently hold them over your eyes! The super cool shot helps rev up circulation and drain away any built up fluid and puffiness! Tired eyes be gone!

Spoony tip three! Emergency eyelash curlers! If your lashes are looking a little drab and your eye lash curlers are nowhere to be seen a spoon is your new pal! Place the spoon edge on top of your lashes and using your thumb press and hold! After about 10 seconds release the pressure and ta da!

NIVEA FIRMING BODY LOTION!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday to you! Today i am going to show you the firming lotion of all firming lotions! This little gem for Nivea has been a favourite of mine for years and whilst i do stray sometimes and try other products, nothing seems to beat it! I have been using the Nip + Fab Body Slim Fix as you will see from Friday's post as i do like the de-puffing action it brings, but it will never beat my Nivea Firming Lotion!

I'm keeping this post short as to be honest this product doesn't need me to rave on for ages about how good it is as the results it brings speak for them selves! Basically, just like a lot of Nivea's face creams, this super body lotion contains Q10! Basically what this wonder ingredient does is politely asks those un firm areas to kindly move on and stop loitering! Fabulouso! This lotion is my side kick whilst i am on my healthy eating and trying to loose a few pounds, it stops the skin from looking like it has melted once you have put all that hard work in and got your slimming results! You can find this product everywhere, i picked up the 400ml tube for £3 in Asda! Asda's lack of beauty knowledge which means they have no idea what the correct price of products should be! NIP + FAB BODY SLIM FIX!

Hello everyone! I've just started a healthy eating regimen! I have thrown fad diets out the window because although I've had great success with them in the past they have turned me into a mega yo-yo dieter! Not good! Now I'm not trying to go all stupidly skinny but treat day has turned into every day in my life and I've piled on a pound or 17? So along with my healthy eating I've roped in the beauty department for a nice fix to firm up my body too! So I bring you Nip + Fab body slim fix!

Nip +Fab is becoming one of my new favourite brands with its endless list of fab fixes for all sorts of body and skin issues! One of the newest lines to be added to the Nip + Fab collection is the fitness range, Apparently the products are deigned to run along side an active lifestyle to help you on your body beautifying mission.As well as Body slim fix, in the range there is also a body scrub to rev up circulation and a roll on to soothe tired muscles.

Now I do have to admit I may have been first attracted by this product as basically it is advertised as slimming in a tube (there is always hope). This daily toning body moisturiser contains unislim witch help sculpt and refine body contours. Also inside is cocoa butter to help soften and smooth then finally caffeine to help improve skin tone and texture. So all gimmicks and weird made up ingredients aside does this product actually work?

I have been using this product in the morning for around 7 days now, and I can honestly say i feel it working! So I haven't dropped 10 stone and shrunk to a 20" waist ( not that i would want to), but my skin feels firmer and a bit tighter too. It also feels like the puffy bits on my thighs and love handles have magically de-puffed. I think there is a lot of hate against products like these as they never seem to live up to expectations but I think this Nip + Fab fix is really good! In fact, I like it that much I have stocked up and bought four! You can find this product in most superdrug, boots, tesco and sainsburys stores, also online via the Nip + Fab website here! It is currently priced at £14.95 for the 200ml tube, I think this is more than reasonable given the reasults I got from this product!

 So if your looking for something to give you a bit More body confidence whilst eating healthy and having an active lifestyle this might just fit the bill. I'm really loving the Nip + Fab range as a whole and I am finding more and more fixes that actually work as i go along. Go Nip +Fab!!! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - DIY BB CREAM

Hello guys and gals, i hope you're all well. As your probably aware BB creams are popping up everywhere. I cant now think of a single brand who hasn't made their own attempt at making one. But with so many different types and brands of BB cream out there how do you possibly find one that's right for your skin without wasting loads of money testing them all out? The answer is simple, don't! Instead of all the faf you can make your own BB cream with products you already have, so go grab your favourite moisturiser, primer and foundation and meet me back here in five! Ready? OK, so all you need to do is mix equal parts of these three products and apply to your face as normal! Don't forget you can mix and match the quantities for different effects like more foundation for more coverage etc so have a go! Once you get your mix sorted you could always mix up some more and pop it into a little tub! Fresh skin in a flash without the extra price tag! WIN! NO 7 BEAUTIFUL SKIN DEEP PORE PURIFIER!

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well! As you may be aware I love my skin care products, in particular products that offer a different angle on your average skin care routine. The product I'm talking about today is the No7 Beautiful Skin Deep Pore Purifier. This item first caught my eye whilst I was having a browse on the boots website and it ended joining my product family as a birthday gift! You can read the blog post on what I got for my birthday here! So I've been using the pore purifier for a few weeks now, so lets see how I got on.

As you can see from the picture below this isn't your average looking beauty product, its a product gadget thingymebob! It has a main tube filled with a cleansing gel and a tip witch has the round scrubby thing on! I've been behaving and following all the instructions, not that there is a lot to follow. You turn the top to the on position, squeeze out a pea sized amount of cleanser then turn the top bit to the off position. You then work the cleanser into a damp t zone using the circular scrub thing (i have no idea what you would actually call it?) then you rinse off the cleanser with water.

 This product leaves your skin squeaky clean and shine free, I love it! And yes it does dissolve those nasty clogs that hang around in pores! It doesn't get rid off all clogs at once but after 3 uses my skin was 99% clog free. I find it good value too as you only need to use this product 2 to 3 times a week to keep up the results. This product is now a welcome addition to my facial skin care routine, its just fab! So if your feeling a little clogged up in the t zone area get yourself down to boots. This T zone tackler will set you back £12 but if you ask me its worth it for the shine busting, clog clouting and pore purging goodness! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - REV UP YOUR LASH CURLERS!

Hello everyone! Today's top tip is all about lashes, and in particular, lash curlers! Now first of all if you don't have a pair of these then go grab some they're fantastic for giving a wide awake eye look and for making eyes pop! To really rev up the results of your curlers you should either run them under warm water or blast them with a hair dryer for a little bit before using for a super curly long lasting finish! AUGUST GLOSSY BOX IS HERE!

Hello everyone, its that time again, Gloss Box is here! So its august Glossy Box time and this month is a box full of "High Flyer's", the idea being each product inside is from a different country around the world. For those of you who do not know what Glossy Box is, here's the link to my first Glossy Box review. So this months box is looking pretty in pink with some lovely squiggly tissue paper inside, very fancy! So onto the contents....

I'm trying to get excited about this months box but the majority of the products are make up. Don't get me wrong I'm not afraid of a bit of slap but I don't go as far to be wearing eye liners and all that jazz. However I bet all you lovely ladies will love these eye make up treats. There is however a nice little skin care product in there and its for oily/combination skin too, yay!

So first of all, inspired by ancient Indian traditions we have the Urban Veda Purifying Exfoliating Facial Polish. This product is packed with mint, eucalyptus and witch hazel so it packs a fresh purifying punch! It claims to refine pores and mattify skin. I cant wait to give this little polish a go so lets just see if it lives up to the claims!

Next up is an offering from the Swedish brand Emite Make Up. I can honestly say i have never heard of this brand before but i suppose one of the main reasons i joined Glossy Box is so i could discover new beauty treasures! These Eyelash curlers look like the Ferrari of the lash curling world with there black body and red lash grips! I did notice on the leaflet that comes in the box that these work out at £20! Ermmmm, great value to come in a Glossy Box but i would never see myself forking out that much on what is a basic essential product! Who knows they may give me the worlds most glamorous lashes and i might fall in love with them!

Now the next few products are going to my dearest mum as I really cant find a use for them in my beauty regimen. From Brazil we have the Essential Make Up Remover Pen by OCEANE Femme. Again I've never heard of this brand but it is interesting what beauty products look like in other parts of the world. This product is designed as a quick fix for make up mistakes and comes with 3 replaceable tips! The UK product is a 2-in-1 Eyeshadow/Liner by Brand Jelly Pong Pong! Well what a fabulous brand name this is. The product is a handy eye shadow and liner in one convenient stick! Handy for makeovers on the go! Last of all from USA we have the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Concentrated Treatment. Apparently this product promises to turn sun, sea, salt and chlorine weathered hair back to goddess glory. Mum will love this one as she's well into her hair products!

So whilst there is a great mix of products in the August Glossy Box I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't more in there that I cant try. I cant complain though as Glossy Box is designed for the ladies. Sorry I haven't gone into much detail on the make up products, don't worry though as I am aware some of my lovely blog readers have signed up to Glossy Box so I'm sure they will leave some lovely comments below and let us all know how they got on! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - DO THE DOUBLE CLEANSE!

Hello everyone, I'm here with another top beauty tip! So whats this double cleanse i here you ask? Its only one of the best tips ever to turn your average skin cleanser into a super pore purifying, radiance boosting super cleansing machine! And the good news is you can do all this with your current skin care cleanser, all you need is an extra 60 seconds.

So you think your doing a good job by actually using a cleanser and not just having a quick swipe with a make up wipe? I'm afraid to say its not good enough. When cleansing there are two parts, here's the technical jargon coming up! First of all is whats called a superficial cleanse witch means your removing any make up, dirt and general gunk of the skin. Second is a deep cleanse witch then actually cleans the skin and gets deep into the pores for a deep down clean!

So all you have to do is do what your doing but do it twice! Try this next time you cleanse and within a few days you most certainly will see a difference, not only in the skins appearance but in the texture too. Your skin care will work harder and your make up will apply like a dream because the double cleanse will leave your skin prepped and ready for anything! A simple tip with big results! Enjoy your new glowing skin!

NIP + FAB FACE FIXES!

Well hello everyone, and a happy Saturday to you! The weekend is here and with it I bring you some fabulous Nip + Fab fixes! So last weekend was a very special weekend for me, I won my first ever auction on ebay! GO MEEE! I won a great little set witch was the Nip + Fab Party Rescue Kit. Although I don't have any party's coming up in the near future I thought it was a great chance to try out some more products from this fantastic range! The best bit about my ebay win is that I got the set of full sized products for £10! you see now why I'm such a happy chappy! Although this set is no longer out and about for sale all the products included are, so if you like what you see never fear because you can still get your hands on them all!

First up is the Frown Fix Instant Line Filler. I've had my eye on this product for quite a while after seeing all the hype about it online but I always spend ages pondering over this product whilst in boots. I find it hard to believe the idea that a little pen filled with magic lotion can save me from the Grand Canyon that is my fore head! This product as I say is in  the form of a pen with a little brush on the end for direct application, good idea as it stops me from wasting ten gallons of product! Now getting real about the wrinkle situation on my fore head, no lotion or potion will get rid of the creases nor would I want it to as I'm not into the whole motionless fake face thing! I'm keeping it real! However I did notice that this product smoothed the lines out and made them a bit less noticeable witch is all I can ask really! I'm going to try it round my eyes and number elevens on my brow area too! So far so good!


Next in the set is the Shine Fix. I am always willing to try any product that promises to help me out when it comes to my oil slick t-zone. The product claims to not only mop up shine but also regulates oil production, sounds good to me! I tried this on my troublesome t-zone area and even after a few hours my skin stayed shine free. The texture is a light gel and glides effortlessly onto skin. I also like the fact that it doesn't leave my skin with a white film like so many other products have. Previous attempts at matt skin have left me looking like I got into a fight with a tin of talc and lost! I like this product as it does what it says and has helped to give me shine free skin for that little bit longer! Whoop!

The third product in the set is the strangely named Lip + Nip fix. I cant say I have ever required a specialist cream that will moisturise both my lips and nips but there is a first for everything! Whilst I haven't tried the nip part as I think that part is odd, as a lip balm this stuff is ace! It is very similar to Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream in both its texture and scent, no points for guessing where Nip + Fab got their inspiration for this product then! The thick textured cream not only provides an instant moisture hit but also stays on for hours and hours so no need to re apply! That's grand that is! It is also useful for any pesky dry patches that crop up on places other than the lip + nip area and for that reason it has to be declared as a man bag/hand bag hero!

Last up in this face saving quad is the Spot fix. As you can guess its a spot gel. I haven't tried this product yet as I'm lucky enough not to be sporting any spots at the moment, but now I've said that I most probably will wake up tomorrow with one glaring at me in the mirror! Be warned spots I'm armed and fabulous with a new Nip + Fab fix!

So if your needing a little skin pick me up this weekend these little treats come highly recommended by me! You can now not only find Nip + Fab goodies in Boots stores but also in Tesco, Sainsburys and superdrug! Its great to see a nice mid range product line branching out especially into little old superdrug because superdrug is really cute, love you superdrug! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - HELPING HANDS

Hello everyone. Here's a tip for tired out hands. Grab some really rich body lotion or body butter and a pair of plastic gloves. Smother your hands with your chosen potion and place on the plastic gloves. Leave these on for half an hour, then remove gloves and rinse of the excess lotion. There we have it, now you can enjoy a lovely pair of handsome hands for a tiny fraction of  the price of your average manicure!

SOAP AND GLORY - PULP FRICTION!

Hello everyone! How are we? Its all about soap and glory for me recently! As you may have seen in my What i got for my birthday post i got a few soap and glory goodies! I was already a fan of S & G so the birthday products were a great addition to my beauty family. Today I'm talking Pulp Friction, another fabulously named product from S & G! You will have seen this in my previous post of what i got for my birthday, here's how i got on trying it out!

So my first expectations from this product were good, but as its a foaming scrub i wasn't expecting a scrubtacular experience! I gave it a go this morning and i have to say im in love with this scrub! It has a fantastic fruity scent named "Fruitigo". It is packed full of weird and wonderful ingredients such as fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice and vitamin balls! I have to say this marvelous mixture of ingredients must do something in the scrubbing department as this scrub packs a punch witch i wasn't expecting! The texture that comes out the pretty pink tube is almost clay like. You would expect a texture like this to belong to a face mask! I massaged this scrub onto damp skin, it spreads so far and for me this is great as i tend to use loads and loads of scrub when doing the full body works! This scrub retails at £8 for the 250ml tube which i have to admit i may not have paid before trying Pulp Friction out! Now i have given it a go it is an up and coming favourite in my body care routine and i will declare its here to stay! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - NATURAL SUNBURN REMEDY!

Hi guys and gals. Have you gone and got yourself scorched by the sun? OOOOPS! You should of used your spf! But its too late for that now, go grab some natural yogurt from the fridge. Apply a thin layer to the burnt areas and leave on for ten minuets then rinse. The probiotics in yogurt help to soothe skin and repair its natural moisture barrier. Use this tip three times a day on the first day then reduce accordingly after that. More beauty tips coming soon!

ALONG CAME BETTY - FIX ME QUICK MATTIFIER!

Hello everyone! I hope you re all well. Today I'm talking miracle mattifers. I personally suffer from an oily t-zone and for me this is nothing but a pest. I always dream of a miracle product that will bring me lovely shine free skin the whole day long! I have tried lots and lots and lots of different products aiming to provide a whole day without shine but had no luck, some of the products have even given me more shine then i had in the first place!?

 I recently discovered a new product line that is exclusive to tescos called Along Came Betty! I have no idea who this Betty is but i now know that her mattifying stick is fab. I tried the Fix Me Quick Mattifer and its a little cracker! The product itself is a solid that melts when applied to skin. It provides a nice matt finish and feels light on the skin! Although it doesn't provide a whole day without shine the handy stick is ideal to pop in your bag and use for touch ups throughout the day. I think i have come to terms that no product will protect my skin from turning into an oil slick with just one aplication but this offering from Along Came Betty certainly helps! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - HOME MADE SUGAR SCRUB!

Hell eveyone! If you find yourself needing to rid the scales from your shins but you're on a budget, go grab some olive oil and sugar! Mix two parts sugar to one part oilive oil and apply to dry skin. Work this mixture into skin starting from the ankles and stopping at the neck then rinse. This super home made scrub will blast off any dry bits and leave skin super soft! Enjoy! More top tips coming soon!

NIP + FAB DEEP CLEANSE FIX! MARVELOUS MULTI-TASKER!

Hello everyone! I hope your all well! Today I'm talking multi-taskers! And in particular my new fave the Nip+Fab Deep Cleanse Fix! First of all let me say how much i love Nip+Fab products! Their line of products feature a wide range of "Fixes" To produce a solution to anything from the dreaded bingo wings to creams to use with your favourite pair of stilettos! I've tried only a few products from Nip+Fab but each one i have been 110% satisfied with.

So as you are already aware I'm reviewing today a magical multitasking cleansing cream! This i do believe is quite new to the range and it caught my eye straight away whilst i was browsing the boots website! It boasts a multitude of uses. You can use this product as a mask, night treatment, cleanser, exfoliator and a on the spot treatment! I have go at using this product in all the suggested multi-use ways and i have to say it really does provide a variety of uses! I agree with all the claims this product makes apart from one. The exfoliating part of this product is not strictly true as it suggests using a muslin cloth when removing this cleanser for aided exfoliation. Now in my eyes any product that is remove with a muslin cloth is an exfoliator if this is the case! I personally use a face cloth instead of a muslin as muslin cloths tend to grate on my stubbly bits witch is no good! As a mask, cleanser, on the spot treatment and overnight rescue it does the job very well! It leaves your skin soft smooth and radiant and i feel it does help prevent blemishes. It gives lovley clean skin without all the dryness that harsh cleanser can bring! You can find this product on the boots website for a steal at £7.95 for 300ml tub! MUA COSMETICS HAUL!!!

Hello everyone! Ok, so I've been spending again but let me say there was a huge sale on the MUA website and I just couldn't resist these insane bargains! I ordered my beauty treats last weekend and they came today! How excited am I right now?!? SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!! I've been trying out MUA products recently after a great recommendation from a work friend! I love this brand, it has the packaging of a high end cosmetic, the quality of a high end cosmetic but all for a minute fraction of the cost of high end cosmetics! Oooohh you cant go wrong! So let me show you what I got!

First let me apologise for the picture, I'm sorry its not the best but pay day is next week so I will be getting a nice light box to get some cracking shots done! Yay! Anyway! Top left we have, Shimmer Kisses Bronzer and top right we have Lipstick Trio in shade Siren. Bottom row from left to right we have Fashionista Ready To Wear Brush-On Concealer Shade 01, Bronzer Shade 01, Fashionista Catwalk 360 Pressed Powder Compact Shade 01, Out There Plumping Lipgloss Shade Nude, Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit Universal shade and at the very bottom the MUA Lip Brush! Well didn't I do well! I'm most excited about the Catwalk 360 Pressed powder compact as the compact itself is awesome! What you cant see in the picture is that it has a mirror on the other side of the black lid! Amazing! Also the brow kit is a cracker too! It comes with three brow powder shades, a setting wax, double ended brow brush and some little tweezers! Great brows on the go!

 So here's guess the price time, what do you think i paid for the whole lot? £50? LOWER! £40? LOWER! £30? LOWER! £20? Ok I will stop guessing for you! The grand total of all these came to £17.70, and that's including £2.95 p&p! ARE THESE MUA PEOPLE FOR REAL?! This brand is just too bloomin good if you ask me! NEVER FEAR! GARNIER 7 DAYS LOTION! - IM FEELING THE LOVE!

Hey guys and gals! As you may have realised by now super dooper body products are a favourite of mine in my body care routine! Another must have for me has to be the garnier Body Intensive 7 Days lotions. There are a wide range of scents all covering different skin types from normal to really dry. I have tried lots of different lotions in this range with great success! They're another really good set of body moisturisers that a great for soothing and healing dry damaged skin. A few months ago garnier updated their 7 days range with a few new additions witch boast a refreshing gel - cream texture. So now you can have all the intensive moisture of the original product but now with a lighter texture, ideal for softening summer skin. I love the two options now as i can revert back to the original in winter when i need a bit more nourishment and use the gel - cream in summer when i want some light hydration.

Im currently using the gel - cream formula in the grape scent. This smells so lovely and light. It also includes an L-bifidus extract, witch last i heard was the main ingredient in an activia yogurt? This states that it will improve the skins moisture barrier and give skin exceptionally long hydration and this it definitely does. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long! Now the only thing that confused me about these products was the 7 days part? I thought one product cant possibly keep your skin soft for 7 days after one application? After having a good scan on the back of the bottle it actually means if you use this product for 28 days then your skin will feel moisturised even 7 days after the last application! That sounds good to me, but unfortunately i cant comment as I'm sure you're already aware i swap and change the use of lotions and potions all the time so i haven't used this long enough to see if this is true. You can find these lotions just about everywhere now and for the 250ml bottle it costs around £2.99 witch i think is a fair price for the results this product gives.
