TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - DO THE DOUBLE CLEANSE!

Hello everyone, I'm here with another top beauty tip! So whats this double cleanse i here you ask? Its only one of the best tips ever to turn your average skin cleanser into a super pore purifying, radiance boosting super cleansing machine! And the good news is you can do all this with your current skin care cleanser, all you need is an extra 60 seconds.

So you think your doing a good job by actually using a cleanser and not just having a quick swipe with a make up wipe? I'm afraid to say its not good enough. When cleansing there are two parts, here's the technical jargon coming up! First of all is whats called a superficial cleanse witch means your removing any make up, dirt and general gunk of the skin. Second is a deep cleanse witch then actually cleans the skin and gets deep into the pores for a deep down clean!

So all you have to do is do what your doing but do it twice! Try this next time you cleanse and within a few days you most certainly will see a difference, not only in the skins appearance but in the texture too. Your skin care will work harder and your make up will apply like a dream because the double cleanse will leave your skin prepped and ready for anything! A simple tip with big results! NIP + FAB FACE FIXES!

Well hello everyone, and a happy Saturday to you! The weekend is here and with it I bring you some fabulous Nip + Fab fixes! So last weekend was a very special weekend for me, I won my first ever auction on ebay! GO MEEE! I won a great little set witch was the Nip + Fab Party Rescue Kit. Although I don't have any party's coming up in the near future I thought it was a great chance to try out some more products from this fantastic range! The best bit about my ebay win is that I got the set of full sized products for £10! you see now why I'm such a happy chappy! Although this set is no longer out and about for sale all the products included are, so if you like what you see never fear because you can still get your hands on them all!

First up is the Frown Fix Instant Line Filler. I've had my eye on this product for quite a while after seeing all the hype about it online but I always spend ages pondering over this product whilst in boots. I find it hard to believe the idea that a little pen filled with magic lotion can save me from the Grand Canyon that is my fore head! This product as I say is in  the form of a pen with a little brush on the end for direct application, good idea as it stops me from wasting ten gallons of product! Now getting real about the wrinkle situation on my fore head, no lotion or potion will get rid of the creases nor would I want it to as I'm not into the whole motionless fake face thing! I'm keeping it real! However I did notice that this product smoothed the lines out and made them a bit less noticeable witch is all I can ask really! I'm going to try it round my eyes and number elevens on my brow area too! So far so good!


Next in the set is the Shine Fix. I am always willing to try any product that promises to help me out when it comes to my oil slick t-zone. The product claims to not only mop up shine but also regulates oil production, sounds good to me! I tried this on my troublesome t-zone area and even after a few hours my skin stayed shine free. The texture is a light gel and glides effortlessly onto skin. I also like the fact that it doesn't leave my skin with a white film like so many other products have. Previous attempts at matt skin have left me looking like I got into a fight with a tin of talc and lost! I like this product as it does what it says and has helped to give me shine free skin for that little bit longer! Whoop!

The third product in the set is the strangely named Lip + Nip fix. I cant say I have ever required a specialist cream that will moisturise both my lips and nips but there is a first for everything! Whilst I haven't tried the nip part as I think that part is odd, as a lip balm this stuff is ace! It is very similar to Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream in both its texture and scent, no points for guessing where Nip + Fab got their inspiration for this product then! The thick textured cream not only provides an instant moisture hit but also stays on for hours and hours so no need to re apply! That's grand that is! It is also useful for any pesky dry patches that crop up on places other than the lip + nip area and for that reason it has to be declared as a man bag/hand bag hero!

Last up in this face saving quad is the Spot fix. As you can guess its a spot gel. I haven't tried this product yet as I'm lucky enough not to be sporting any spots at the moment, but now I've said that I most probably will wake up tomorrow with one glaring at me in the mirror! Be warned spots I'm armed and fabulous with a new Nip + Fab fix!

You can now not only find Nip + Fab goodies in Boots stores but also in Tesco, Sainsburys and superdrug! Its great to see a nice mid range product line branching out especially into little old superdrug because superdrug is really cute, love you superdrug! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - HELPING HANDS

Hello everyone. Here's a tip for tired out hands. Grab some really rich body lotion or body butter and a pair of plastic gloves. Smother your hands with your chosen potion and place on the plastic gloves. Leave these on for half an hour, then remove gloves and rinse of the excess lotion. There we have it, now you can enjoy a lovely pair of handsome hands for a tiny fraction of  the price of your average manicure!

SOAP AND GLORY - PULP FRICTION!

Hello everyone! How are we? Its all about soap and glory for me recently! As you may have seen in my What i got for my birthday post i got a few soap and glory goodies! I was already a fan of S & G so the birthday products were a great addition to my beauty family. Today I'm talking Pulp Friction, another fabulously named product from S & G! You will have seen this in my previous post of what i got for my birthday, here's how i got on trying it out!

So my first expectations from this product were good, but as its a foaming scrub i wasn't expecting a scrubtacular experience! I gave it a go this morning and i have to say im in love with this scrub! It has a fantastic fruity scent named "Fruitigo". It is packed full of weird and wonderful ingredients such as fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice and vitamin balls! I have to say this marvelous mixture of ingredients must do something in the scrubbing department as this scrub packs a punch witch i wasn't expecting! The texture that comes out the pretty pink tube is almost clay like. You would expect a texture like this to belong to a face mask! I massaged this scrub onto damp skin, it spreads so far and for me this is great as i tend to use loads and loads of scrub when doing the full body works! This scrub retails at £8 for the 250ml tube which i have to admit i may not have paid before trying Pulp Friction out! Now i have given it a go it is an up and coming favourite in my body care routine and i will declare its here to stay! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - NATURAL SUNBURN REMEDY!

Hi guys and gals. Have you gone and got yourself scorched by the sun? OOOOPS! You should of used your spf! But its too late for that now, go grab some natural yogurt from the fridge. Apply a thin layer to the burnt areas and leave on for ten minuets then rinse. The probiotics in yogurt help to soothe skin and repair its natural moisture barrier. Use this tip three times a day on the first day then reduce accordingly after that. More beauty tips coming soon!

ALONG CAME BETTY - FIX ME QUICK MATTIFIER!

Hello everyone! I hope you re all well. Today I'm talking miracle mattifers. I personally suffer from an oily t-zone and for me this is nothing but a pest. I always dream of a miracle product that will bring me lovely shine free skin the whole day long! I have tried lots and lots and lots of different products aiming to provide a whole day without shine but had no luck, some of the products have even given me more shine then i had in the first place!?

 I recently discovered a new product line that is exclusive to tescos called Along Came Betty! I have no idea who this Betty is but i now know that her mattifying stick is fab. I tried the Fix Me Quick Mattifer and its a little cracker! The product itself is a solid that melts when applied to skin. It provides a nice matt finish and feels light on the skin! Although it doesn't provide a whole day without shine the handy stick is ideal to pop in your bag and use for touch ups throughout the day. I think i have come to terms that no product will protect my skin from turning into an oil slick with just one aplication but this offering from Along Came Betty certainly helps! TODAYS TOP BEAUTY TIP - HOME MADE SUGAR SCRUB!

Hell eveyone! If you find yourself needing to rid the scales from your shins but you're on a budget, go grab some olive oil and sugar! Mix two parts sugar to one part oilive oil and apply to dry skin. Work this mixture into skin starting from the ankles and stopping at the neck then rinse. This super home made scrub will blast off any dry bits and leave skin super soft! Enjoy! More top tips coming soon!

NIP + FAB DEEP CLEANSE FIX! MARVELOUS MULTI-TASKER!

Hello everyone! I hope your all well! Today I'm talking multi-taskers! And in particular my new fave the Nip+Fab Deep Cleanse Fix! First of all let me say how much i love Nip+Fab products! Their line of products feature a wide range of "Fixes" To produce a solution to anything from the dreaded bingo wings to creams to use with your favourite pair of stilettos! I've tried only a few products from Nip+Fab but each one i have been 110% satisfied with.

So as you are already aware I'm reviewing today a magical multitasking cleansing cream! This i do believe is quite new to the range and it caught my eye straight away whilst i was browsing the boots website! It boasts a multitude of uses. You can use this product as a mask, night treatment, cleanser, exfoliator and a on the spot treatment! I have go at using this product in all the suggested multi-use ways and i have to say it really does provide a variety of uses! I agree with all the claims this product makes apart from one. The exfoliating part of this product is not strictly true as it suggests using a muslin cloth when removing this cleanser for aided exfoliation. Now in my eyes any product that is remove with a muslin cloth is an exfoliator if this is the case! I personally use a face cloth instead of a muslin as muslin cloths tend to grate on my stubbly bits witch is no good! As a mask, cleanser, on the spot treatment and overnight rescue it does the job very well! It leaves your skin soft smooth and radiant and i feel it does help prevent blemishes. It gives lovley clean skin without all the dryness that harsh cleanser can bring! You can find this product on the boots website for a steal at £7.95 for 300ml tub! MUA COSMETICS HAUL!!!

Hello everyone! Ok, so I've been spending again but let me say there was a huge sale on the MUA website and I just couldn't resist these insane bargains! I ordered my beauty treats last weekend and they came today! How excited am I right now?!? SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!! I've been trying out MUA products recently after a great recommendation from a work friend! I love this brand, it has the packaging of a high end cosmetic, the quality of a high end cosmetic but all for a minute fraction of the cost of high end cosmetics! Oooohh you cant go wrong! So let me show you what I got!

First let me apologise for the picture, I'm sorry its not the best but pay day is next week so I will be getting a nice light box to get some cracking shots done! Yay! Anyway! Top left we have, Shimmer Kisses Bronzer and top right we have Lipstick Trio in shade Siren. Bottom row from left to right we have Fashionista Ready To Wear Brush-On Concealer Shade 01, Bronzer Shade 01, Fashionista Catwalk 360 Pressed Powder Compact Shade 01, Out There Plumping Lipgloss Shade Nude, Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit Universal shade and at the very bottom the MUA Lip Brush! Well didn't I do well! I'm most excited about the Catwalk 360 Pressed powder compact as the compact itself is awesome! What you cant see in the picture is that it has a mirror on the other side of the black lid! Amazing! Also the brow kit is a cracker too! It comes with three brow powder shades, a setting wax, double ended brow brush and some little tweezers! Great brows on the go!

 So here's guess the price time, what do you think i paid for the whole lot? £50? LOWER! £40? LOWER! £30? LOWER! £20? Ok I will stop guessing for you! The grand total of all these came to £17.70, and that's including £2.95 p&p! ARE THESE MUA PEOPLE FOR REAL?! This brand is just too bloomin good if you ask me! NEVER FEAR! GARNIER 7 DAYS LOTION! - IM FEELING THE LOVE!

Hey guys and gals! As you may have realised by now super dooper body products are a favourite of mine in my body care routine! Another must have for me has to be the garnier Body Intensive 7 Days lotions. There are a wide range of scents all covering different skin types from normal to really dry. I have tried lots of different lotions in this range with great success! They're another really good set of body moisturisers that a great for soothing and healing dry damaged skin. A few months ago garnier updated their 7 days range with a few new additions witch boast a refreshing gel - cream texture. So now you can have all the intensive moisture of the original product but now with a lighter texture, ideal for softening summer skin. I love the two options now as i can revert back to the original in winter when i need a bit more nourishment and use the gel - cream in summer when i want some light hydration.

Im currently using the gel - cream formula in the grape scent. This smells so lovely and light. It also includes an L-bifidus extract, witch last i heard was the main ingredient in an activia yogurt? This states that it will improve the skins moisture barrier and give skin exceptionally long hydration and this it definitely does. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long! Now the only thing that confused me about these products was the 7 days part? I thought one product cant possibly keep your skin soft for 7 days after one application? After having a good scan on the back of the bottle it actually means if you use this product for 28 days then your skin will feel moisturised even 7 days after the last application! That sounds good to me, but unfortunately i cant comment as I'm sure you're already aware i swap and change the use of lotions and potions all the time so i haven't used this long enough to see if this is true. You can find these lotions just about everywhere now and for the 250ml bottle it costs around £2.99 witch i think is a fair price for the results this product gives.
